Hotel policy

All hotel rooms are arranged by the tournament. 

The event will do its best to meet the needs of the officials with the information we have. 

Keeping this in mind, most of the Gatlinburg hotels are paid for at the standard rate.

Every effort is made to accommodate all requests, however, requests by those within 60 miles of the 

complex will be on an as available basis and not guaranteed. 

Referees utilizing tournament hotels need to have unlimited availability for the duration of the
tournament and work a minimum of 6 games to qualify for lodging. 

For this reason, the assignor reserves the right to override and availability limitations to accommodate 

the needs of the event scheduling. 

Referees wishing not to share a room can do so by paying 50% of the room rate ONLY if there are
rooms available in the event rooms provided to us. 

If you are under 18 and have a parent traveling with you, notify the assignor ASAP.  

Hotel requests need to be done at least 10 days prior to the event so plan accordingly.  

• For an exception, call me. 
• Place a note in your availability "Hotel FSS" or "Hotel SS"  
• If you have a roommate preference “FSS w/ Bob” 

NOTE - Officials that do not check in on the designated check in date may forfeit their travel stipend and
may be responsible for any hotel charges due.
