The Off Duty Story

 For many years while working with young referees at a recreational soccer park in middle Tennessee. I noticed referees were being bothered regardless of where we had their break area. Standing in line at the concessions stand or just watching other games. Off Duty was born. 

The shirts are to let people know they are not working and want to enjoy their day. I created a T-shirt that started out in the shape of a stop sign in the front of a black shirt. This was designed when we first went to black T-shirts, so it was a great way to keep the referees up to date. The design is not visible under the yellow jersey so it worked well or so we thought. The design worked great with the button up shirts however the design was high enough you could see it under the V neck jerseys. There were also some of our larger referees that really made the design stand out, so we updated to a design over the left pocket. This worked much better for the V neck and the button neck. 

Over the years the design has been brought out from time to time and the latest version has the GFA logo. These items are given away at various events with no announcement so you never know when you will see them.
